The myth the skate world
wants you to believe...

I went through what so many skaters do. From feeling good on my board to hurting every session, losing tricks, low energy, slow recovery, a drop in confidence - unable to get slams & injuries out of my head - and a total stop to progression.

Skating was becoming more of a struggle and less fun. I started wondering if age was finally catching up to me, how long I'll be able to keep this up, and whether I'd become one of those skaters that's always telling you how they're "not feeling it today" and "normally skating better".

​

I started to believe what the skate world tells us - that all of this is supposed to happen; we're supposed to feel haggard and skate worse from our early 20s. Well, fast forward 10 years and now I know this is totally wrong.

​

The thing is, the myth can be true if you take the standard path of doing nothing to take care of yourself, but if you take the other option - preparing your body for skating, giving it the fuel it needs, and using techniques to learn faster and overcome fear, it's 3594% wrong.

​

Right now I feel way better on my board than I did back then, and by applying the same simple, but powerful changes, you too can make a huge impact on how you skate and feel. Guaranteed.
